Victoria Falls Hotel
Victoria Falls Hotel
Experience the sights and sounds of the incredible Victoria Falls in a place so beautiful it’s otherwise known as God’s own country. The Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe is situated on acres of private garden, overlooking one of the Seven Natural Wonders Of The World.
A World Heritage site and the largest curtain of water in the world, Victoria Falls sits on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. On the Zimbabwean side
winding paths through the rainforest reveal extensive views of the falls, while across in Zambia the knife edge bridge takes you close to the
cascading water and whirlpool at the base of the falls. Both sides are well worth a visit and are relatively easy to travel between.
The two places we love the most are Tongabezi and The Victoria Falls Hotel, distinctly different yet equally special. Tongabezi is an award-winning, romantic
hideaway lodge on the banks of the Zambezi River, and The Victoria Falls Hotel is Zimbabwe’s oldest luxury colonial hotel.
Living up to its name of the adventure capital of Southern Africa there are a myriad of activities to choose from in this region which is surrounded by
remarkable safari destinations and abundant natural life. Visit Devil's Pool, bungy jump, white water raft, tiger fish or take a helicopter flip over
the falls! For those who aren’t into adrenalin-fuelled activities you can have high tea at The Victoria Falls Hotel, lunch at the Lookout Café or enjoy
a sunset cruise on the Zambezi.
Whether it is adrenalin or soul searching you’re after, a trip to Victoria Falls is a must on your travel list!
