Natalie Perkins

Fresh from the University of Cape Town, Natalie couldn’t believe her luck when she found herself involved in the tourism industry back in 2007. Her first love has always been the people and the wilderness of Africa, with a strong interest in conservation and how everyone has a role to play in the preservation of this beautiful world.

Passionate about sharing special, immersive journeys across Africa, Natalie brings together the best of Caroline’s, Tara’s and her own experiences while traveling across the continent for Classic Escapes' readers, followers and friends.

With extensive experience in lodge operations, she knows the nuts and bolts of travelling around Africa. She supports Caroline and Tara with clients’ travel plans, keeps the website fresh and exciting, looks after the social media channels and is the in-house copy writer.

When not in the throes of reading about the latest restaurant to hit the Cape Town scene, or researching new and unique places not oft heard about, chances are good she can be found on the hockey field, checking out a live music performance, completely captivated in a great book or sipping wine with sweeping views of the country side.
