Park – a vital migration corridor in Tanzania. Charter flights land at Kuro Airstrip in the Tarangire National Park where the safari begins with
a game drive, complete with picnic en-route to Little Chem Chem.
Flanked by the Babati mountain range and the distant hills of Tarangire, the camp overlooks Lake Burunge, which attracts all manner of wildlife and birdlife. The ‘sunrise camp’ as it is affectionately known is welcoming and elegant, and oozes the overwhelming appeal of a bygone era of safaris. Shaded by large acacia trees around a vintage safari style main mess tent and a relaxing in an open-air lounge.
Safari experiences include guided walks and drives in the private concession or in the Tarangire National Park. Home to some of the largest elephant bulls, this camp is passionate about conservation and sustainability in this region.
