Pamushana Lodge
An alluring forest like lodge in the midst of extraordinary Zimbabwean wilderness where time stands still. Pamushana Lodge is a place attributed to great game, exceptional service and exclusivity, cultural vibrancy, scenic beauty, a remote setting and a strong sense of conservancy.

Pamushana Lodge

Singita Pamushana Lodge is set on an impressive hundred and thirty thousand acres of wilderness in the south eastern corner of Zimbabwe. Getting there is straight forward with scheduled flights from Johannesburg.

Elevated on a cliff side, Pamushana consists of six palatial suites and a five bedroom villa, all vibrantly decorated with local artwork and striking scenery. Each suite has its own plunge pool and dramatic views of the lake. The main lodge has an open air dining and lounge area, swimming pools, a jacuzzi and spa.

Activities at Pamushana are varied and tailored to each guest. This virtually untouched wilderness is home to over thirty six types of mammals, and the highest concentrations of endangered white and black rhino! Early morning and afternoon game drives are offered, the reserve is rich in rock art and their dam offers good fishing. A number of hides have been developed close to popular waterholes to enable close up encounters with the game in the area. For those with a community conscience, their local outreach programmes can be visited. Another novel and adventurous activity is sleeping at the hide under the African sky!

Pamushana is a delightful reminder of what African safari is all about!

Caroline's Hot Tips

Make sure your booking dates connect with scheduled flights from Johannesburg.

It's home to over thirty six types of mammals, and the highest concentrations of endangered white and black rhino, so game drives and guided walks are a huge highlight.

Book a sunset boating cruise on the lake for sensational sightings of hippos and crocodiles!

Spend time at one of their hides. They are close to waterholes so there's plenty of activity.
